This fully-featured, 2-Way security and remote start system has a new transceiver design using a flat coin cell battery which makes it thinner and sleeker. The black glossy casing is enhanced by an elegant chromed contour lens. A new wider LCD screen combines eight user selectable backlighting color displays with an innovative dual-axis outline of a vehicle, clearly identifying vehicle status and alarm condition information to the user. The microprocessor's memory also allows the user to be informed of past alerts by displaying the nature of the triggers and the time they occurred. In addition, large reference icons of the most used everyday functions such as lock, start, valet mode and ready mode (for manual transmission) are displayed. The screen also carries 6 alphanumeric characters to convey clear and precise information such as zone trigger, engine run time remaining and inside cabin temperature. Finally, the transceiver can be programmed by the user to set their favorite custom features such as selecting and setting timed engine starts, English and French text, permanent and momentary keypad lock, alarm clock, parking meter timer, and more. It is Autostart's most advanced 2-way security and remote start hybrid ever, and it's available now, with an MSRP of $579. The Innovations Award-winning AS-6850vTW and more than 100 other exciting and innovative new products will be on display in Directed's booth at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January.
