Data storage, management and restoration expert, Attix5 is today launching Attix5 Pro V7, a world beating data back-up and storage solution for Private, Public & Hybrid cloud.
Attix5 has put over 13years experience into creating the robust, secure solution for Enterprise clients processing terabytes of data that challenges anything available in the current market. Attix5 Pro V7 uses streaming back-up for faster processing requiring negligible client system resources, and supports all operating platforms including Microsoft, Linux, Mac OSX and Solaris.
Luv Duggal General Manager of Sales (UK) commented, “With data volumes and compliance responsibilities constantly increasing, managing and protecting a company’s data is becoming more critical. With Attix5 Pro V7, we’ve developed a solution that really benefits both our end users and resellers. Key features of the service include the introduction of flexible billing models which support Cap-ex and Op-ex software-as-a-service (SaaS) purchasing preferences, enterprise reporting, backup archiving, de-duplication (target and source based) and management capabilities.”
For Attix5 resellers, the new configuration options make the back-up and restoration experience much simpler for their clients, reducing support calls and giving high customer satisfaction levels. This, combined with a new pricing structure, also gives resellers better margins. Hybrid Cloud enables large organisations to have LAN speed backup and recovery with the additional benefit of offsite copies for disaster recovery purposes.
Andrew Lockwood, Commercial Director for Data Solutions at Daisy Group commented, 'All businesses need to backup and store data, but in too many cases slow and expensive solutions are failing organisations. With its streaming backup and big data capabilities Attix5 Pro V7 is the next generation data solution we've been looking for. It's fast, secure and simple to use. We are really impressed by all of its features and abilities, from de-duplication to recovery.''
Duggal continued, “We’ve improved the Attix5 Pro product across the board, from simplifying the customer interface to dramatically improving back-up speeds. So much so that we are now able to achieve backup and restore speeds of up to 150 MB/s whilst still minimising back-end storage and network utilisation – all of this without compromising any of the security nor quality.”
