The free event, taking place directly after the Percona Live: MySQL User Conference and Expo 2013, will provide tutorials and keynotes from MySQL and MariaDB visionaries, customers and partners.

The day will begin with Monty Widenius and Patrik Sallner, SkySQL CEO, sharing insights on the current and future trends pertaining to the most popular open source database, as well as the Cloud. The event itself features two technical tracks: one focused on the MySQL & MariaDB databases and related technologies, with a second focused on best practices for deploying database applications in the Cloud. Speakers will also include big data and analytics experts, as well as SkySQL & MariaDB customers, users and partners.
Attendees will learn about the new and improved MariaDB, how to adapt their MySQL solutions to the Cloud, create a high availability environment for their MySQL database, and more as well as receive free, hands-on help with their MySQL or MariaDB database installations from expert SkySQL & MariaDB consultants in the Solutions Lounge.
A powerful day of learning for MySQL DBAs, application developers building solutions on MySQL and development/engineering management, the MySQL® and Cloud Database Solutions Day takes place immediately following the Percona Live MySQL Conference and Expo, providing an extra day of free tutorials and discussions on core topics with exclusive speakers.
