NEW YORK, Jan. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Business Intelligence Associates (BIA), a pioneer in secure cloud legal hold and eDiscovery collections, is excited to announce that Alan Marks has joined the BIA team as Vice President, Product. In addition to leading the vision and direction of BIA's software products, Alan will be working directly with BIA's clients to ensure that they remain at the forefront of that process.
Alan has more than 20 years of experience in software development, managing projects in every phase from concept to delivery. Immediately prior to joining BIA, Alan directed engineering work in an open source academic software project for higher education. Before that, he was Vice President of Engineering at Limelight Development, an eDiscovery software provider.
With a background that includes consulting for clients such as Microsoft, HP, SAP and Adobe, Alan's experience will contribute to refining, adding and bringing to market revolutionary features and tools to the eDiscovery community.
Brian Schrader, BIA's President, said, "We're thrilled to have Alan on the team. I'm confident that he'll help ensure that BIA continually pushes the envelope with our TotalDiscovery product line, keeping it in the solid position as the most sophisticated cloud-based eDiscovery tool available."
