MIDDLETON, WI -- (Marketwire) -- 08/12/09 -- Extreme Engineering Solutions is shipping XCalibur1331, a high-performance, conduction- or air-cooled, 6U VME solution featuring Freescale Semiconductor's dual-core MPC8640D processor. The XCalibur1331 is ideal for ruggedized systems requiring high bandwidth processing and low power consumption. The 8640D delivers enhanced performance with AltiVec(TM) technology and IEEE dual-precision floating point.

XCalibur1331 features include:

--  Two channels of up to 4 GB of DDR2-533 ECC Memory with ECC
